An AI skin maker for a game you own.
Type a person, an animal or a suit. Blocksmith draws a 64×64 skin and can drop it in your Java skins folder, or save the same PNG for Bedrock.
People search for an AI Minecraft skin maker because painting a 64 by 64 sheet by hand is slow, and most of the fun is the sentence: a knight in silver armour, a fox, a mint spacesuit. Blocksmith is that, as a desktop app for Mac and Windows. Minecraft, the game, is only what the file is for. Mojang did not make this app.
The free app does it offline. It has a list of hair, faces, clothes, animals and colours, and it picks from that list using the words you typed. A fox is fur, a muzzle and a tail, not a person wearing fox ears. A knight gets metal and a cape on the second layer of the skin, which is the layer the game draws slightly outside the body. You then change hair, colours and extras with the controls, and it redraws in about a second. That redraw does not use an AI wish.
An AI wish, on Plus or Pro, is for when the sentence is more particular than the list. One sentence goes to the recipe service, and what comes back is a form of colours and choices, checked against a fixed set before anything is drawn. It is not a chat, and no AI paragraph is shown on screen. Players under 13 are not offered wishes. The offline maker still runs.
What you get
- A 64×64 PNG in the layout Java Edition and Bedrock both use, including the outer layer.
- A preview you can turn, so a hat brim and a tail are visible from the side.
- A button that copies the file into your Java skins folder, and a button that saves a Bedrock copy into Downloads with import steps.
- A share still and a short turnaround clip, saved on your computer, with a small “made with Blocksmith” line. Nothing is uploaded.
Nova Skin is the better tool if you want to paint pixels yourself or start from a huge public library. Blocksmith is the better tool if you want a sentence, a local file, and no account. The comparison is on Blocksmith and Nova Skin.
A few skins made this way are in the gallery, including a silver knight, a mint astronaut and an orange fox. Those pictures are Blocksmith’s renders of its own sheets.
Questions
Does an AI Minecraft skin maker need an account?
No. Blocksmith has no account. The free app draws the skin on your computer. AI wishes, for players 13 and over, send one sentence and get back a list of colours and clothing choices, not a chat.
Can I use the skin on Bedrock?
Yes. Blocksmith saves a standard 64 by 64 PNG. In Minecraft for Windows, open the Dressing Room, edit the character, and import the PNG. The same file is a Java skin.
Is the skin one of Minecraft's skins?
No. Blocksmith draws every pixel. It does not ship skins from the game, and it does not ship the Minecraft logo.
