BLOCKSMITH

Terms of use

Last updated 16 October 2026

The short version. Blocksmith makes original files for a game you already own. It costs US$5.99 a month, bought by an adult, and you can cancel any time. Everything it makes is yours. AI wishes are for players 13 and up. It isn't made by Mojang or Microsoft.

1. What Blocksmith is

Blocksmith is software that runs on your computer and makes original Minecraft-compatible files — skins, texture packs, datapacks, worlds, pixel art and note block machines. It does not contain, change or redistribute any part of Minecraft, and you need your own copy of the game.

2. Not an official Minecraft product

NOT AN OFFICIAL MINECRAFT PRODUCT. NOT APPROVED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. Using Blocksmith doesn't change your obligations under Minecraft's own terms and usage guidelines.

3. Age

You must be 18 or over to buy Blocksmith. Players under 18 should have a parent or guardian's permission. AI wishes are for players 13 and up; younger players get everything else.

4. AI wishes

AI wishes are read by Claude, an AI made by Anthropic. It isn't a person, and it can get things wrong — if a build isn't what you asked for, change it in Change it or try different words. Free AI wishes are limited each day and may pause when demand is high.

5. Your plan

Blocksmith costs US$5.99 a month (or the price shown at checkout, in your currency, plus any tax) and includes 150 AI wishes a month, which start again each calendar month and don't roll over. It renews monthly until you cancel. Blocksmith only works while your plan is active, and it checks this online each time it opens, so it needs an internet connection. You can cancel any time from the “Manage or cancel” link on the page you saw after paying or from your receipt; your plan then runs to the end of the month you've paid for. If we change the price we'll tell you before your next payment, and you can cancel before it applies. One code is for one household.

Your purchase is processed by Link, Stripe's checkout, which sells Blocksmith to you as reseller and merchant of record, collects any tax, and sends your receipts. Link's own terms, shown at checkout, apply to the payment.

6. Refunds and your rights

If Blocksmith doesn't do what this site says, email us within 30 days of paying and we'll refund you in full. Consumers in the UK, EU and elsewhere keep any cooling-off and refund rights their law gives them; your statutory rights are not affected.

7. What you make is yours

Every file Blocksmith makes is yours to use, change, share or put in a video. Please don't present it as an official Minecraft product.

8. What you must not do

If you do, we may switch off AI wishes for that copy or end a subscription. Where the problem is honest and fixable we'll tell you first.

9. Availability

We work to keep Blocksmith and its AI wishes running, but we don't promise they'll be available at any particular time. If Blocksmith can't be used for a long stretch because of us, tell us and we'll credit you.

10. Liability

Back up any world you care about before adding a datapack to it — ours or anyone's. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost worlds, lost data or indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you've paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, or anything else that can't lawfully be limited.

11. Changes and law

If these terms change we'll update the date above and email subscribers about anything important. They're governed by the laws of Canada and the province where Blocksmith is run; if you're a consumer elsewhere you keep the protections of your own country's law.
