Make a texture pack from a palette
Name a look. The reader turns it into colours, then paints a matching set.
“Candy pink and mint” is one the gallery already shows. Ocean, gothic, neon and the others are in the same texture gallery (56 packs). Each page lists the colours it stored. The cubes on those pages are drawn by Blocksmith so you can see the palette. They are not samples of the game’s blocks.
Steps
- Say the look in a sentence. A season, a biome, two colours. The offline reader maps words it knows onto rock, leaf, water and glow.
- Read the palette before you export. If the water colour is wrong, change it with the controls. That does not spend a wish.
- Export Java and Bedrock separately. A resource pack for Java, an .mcpack for Bedrock. The install guides cover each one.
- Leave the game’s files alone. You are adding a pack, not replacing the textures inside the Minecraft install.
An AI wish is for a look the list misses. It still does not take Mojang’s PNGs as input. See the AI texture pack generator.
Questions
Why don’t the blocks look like the default game?
Because they are a new set. If you wanted the default look, turn the pack off.
Can I mix this with another pack?
Minecraft lets you stack resource packs. Put this one above or below the other depending on which textures should win. Blocksmith does not manage that stack for you.
Is Unpixller required?
No. The larger redraw is optional. The classic size is what you get if you never turn it on.
Mac and Windows. On a Mac, Blocksmith is notarised by Apple and opens normally. On Windows, the installer isn’t code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may say “Windows protected your PC”: choose More info, then Run anyway.
