What the offline reader builds

The free app has a list. If your sentence is on it, the work happens on the computer and nothing is sent.

The offline reader is why the gallery can show 360 builds, 210 skins and 56 texture packs without calling them AI. A sentence is matched to a plan: castle, house, ship, animal, palette, skin parts. The seed comes from the words, so the same sentence builds the same thing again.

Players 13 and over still sign in with email before they use the app. Players under 13 stay anonymous and offline. AI wishes stay off for them, and the reader keeps working. Songs and pixel art from a local picture do not spend a wish either.

Steps

  1. Find a sentence the reader knows. Use a gallery page. The line under “What you typed” is a known sentence.
  2. Type it in the app. You should get that build, skin or pack without a wish prompt.
  3. If the app offers a wish. The sentence missed the list. Rephrase toward a known shape, or spend a wish if you are 13 or over and you want the new shape.
  4. Keep the file. Exports stay in your Minecraft folder or in Blocksmith’s folder. They are not uploaded as part of ordinary offline use.

The paid difference is the wish, not the reader. What an AI wish is and pricing spell out the numbers.

Questions

Does offline mean no account at all?

Under 13, yes. From 13, an email account is required even for the free reader. There is no password and no ads in the app.

Will the same words drift over time?

The seed is taken from the sentence so a known plan repeats. An AI wish is a different path and can return a new layout.

Where is the list published?

The galleries are the public list: builds, skins, texture packs, plus the feature pages for worlds, pixel art and songs.

Mac and Windows. On a Mac, Blocksmith is notarised by Apple and opens normally. On Windows, the installer isn’t code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may say “Windows protected your PC”: choose More info, then Run anyway.
